One offer, one niche, five clients: the 12-week plan for an AI service business
Pick one offer, send 50 personal messages a week, aim for five clients in 12 weeks. The people who get paid chose one offer for one kind of customer and kept turning up. This is the hub of the money section: the offer, the pitch, the 12-week plan and the scoreboard, for 8 to 10 hours a week.
- A 12-week plan with numbers you control: 3 portfolio pieces, 50 personalised contacts a week, 2 follow-ups, a Friday review
- A kit: offer-picker matrix, one-line offer builder, printable 12-week plan, scoreboard with weekly targets, spreadsheet CRM and weekly review template
- At least one service lesson from this section done, or the time to do one in weeks 1 and 2 (step 2 links them all)
- About 8 to 10 hours a week for 12 weeks, mostly in short blocks
- Excel, Google Sheets or LibreOffice Calc for the kit's CSV files
- A phone and an email address. No paid tools
Tonight: five messages in 30 minutes
Before any planning, send five real messages. It turns the whole course from an idea into something you've already started.
The rest of this mission is the 12-week system. This step is the shortcut: pick fast, write one line, send five messages. You'll redo the pick properly in step 3, and that's fine. What matters tonight is that five real people hear from you.
- 10 minutes: pick from three. Write down three services from this section you could deliver this month (the list is in step 2). Give each a score from 1 to 5 for one thing only: how many of its buyers you could contact this week. Take the highest.
- 5 minutes: write the line. Fill in: "I help [kind of business] [get an outcome] by [what you do], within [timeframe]." Under 25 words. Step 4 has 13 finished examples to copy the shape of.
- 10 minutes: find five. Search Google Maps for that kind of business near you. For each, check Companies House ↗ shows an active Ltd, and note one specific, true thing about them (a broken link, a blurry logo, no reply to a review). No Ltd? Save them for a phone call later; don't email them.
- 5 minutes: send. Use the outreach message in step 4, with your line in the middle and their specific thing in the first line. Send five emails.
