Hugo
Turns a folder of plain text files into a fast, finished website you can host for free, with no database and nothing to keep patched.
What you can do with it
- Small-business websites with prices, hours and a gallery
- Portfolios and landing pages
- Blogs and documentation sites
Worth knowingThere's no admin panel: you edit text files, so the business owner can't easily update the site themselves. Contact forms and online booking need an extra service.
