PMTiles
Cut your town or city out of a free world map (built from OpenStreetMap) into one small file, then view it in a browser with no internet.
What you can do with it
- A street-level city map that works with no signal
- Your own pins and points on a private map
- A grab-bag map folder on a USB stick
Worth knowingIt's a map to look at, not a sat nav: no search and no directions. You need a small local web server to view it, and the map data must keep its OpenStreetMap credit.
