Wanted to see how far the Replica skill pack goes on a real product, so we pointed it at Linktree. It mapped 10 screens and 7 user flows, built the clone, then ran Playwright against it and found 2 actual bugs (a broken redirect and a layout shift on mobile) and fixed both without being asked. The one failing test is a font-loading timing thing we still haven't nailed. Video is the full run, sped up.

A few of you asked how this was made. It's not a real swarm, it's a visualisation: pure Python and Pillow, rendered frame by frame and stitched with FFmpeg. Took an evening. Happy to share the script if people want it, it's about 200 lines.

About 20 minutes from install to this. The queen agent spawns workers, they each propose an approach and then vote on it. Watching them argue is weirdly addictive.

Been chipping away at this for a few weeks of evenings. Procedural terrain, basic crafting, day/night cycle, and you can die of cold if you're stupid, which I am regularly. Very early. The UI is placeholder grey boxes and the trees are literally triangles. But it's playable start to finish which feels like a milestone. Godot is honestly so much nicer to get started with than I expected. Ask me anything.

Did the reverse-engineer lesson on ripgrep and got a bit obsessed with how it walks directories so fast. Stripped my version down to about 300 lines with a comment on basically every decision. The .gitignore handling was the bit that clicked for me. It doesn't just skip files at the end, it prunes whole folders early so it never even opens them. Best way I've found to actually learn Rust instead of doing tutorial exercises.
